A Decade after the June 2011 Las Conchas Fire

IIRC the fire was started by a spark from a power line, saying in the wind, in this neck of the woods. In total it burned more than 150,000 acres. Today that area constitutes a gigantic fire break for Los Alamos. :D

The bird feeder in the above image was empty after one day.
Deer, visiting our backyard quite often, ate all the seeds.
I filled the feeder up again though.

With all those videos your thread is becoming more and more unwieldy, K-H.
Just saying ...
Thank you Bart, I am afraid you are right.
So I better cut back on those gif animations.
Now that I have figured out how to make them with Photoshop CC.
BTW there is no such problem sharing the gifs with family members via iMessages. ;)

Thanks again for your feedback.

Oh well a picture of the Valle Grande instead.

If one looks very closely, by single- and double-clicking on the image,
one can detect 2 groups of people down there, already fairly late in the day.
One group below the middle with 6 or 7 folks in it and a single person further to the left.
And another group of 3 or 4 folks to the upper right, close to the dark fur trees.

We can confirm the latter by looking at a Fuji 50S image.

Fuji GFX 50S + GF250mm F4 R LM OIS WR. :D

Both cameras featuring a 50 MP sensor.

Well, I am enjoying tremendously your animations/videos, K-H. No need to cut back just for my sake.
Just wondering if there is another way presenting them here without them starting right away: give it a thought.
Just saying ... ;)
