Anyone own the Pentax 645 FA 300mm f5.6 lens - need dimensions

I just ordered a used lens from Japan and it will ship to NJ. In advance of it getting here can anyone measure the lens barrel diameter near the mount? I would like to retrofit a third party or another lens maker's rotating tripod collar. I will be using this lens with a Fringer auto focus adapter on a Fuji GFX 100S.

Sorry disregard.

I have one I never use, but when I look carefully near the lens mount is the f stop then further out about a 1/4" is the DOF scale and then another 1/4" further out (from the lens mount) is the focus knob and then further out is a long section (2+") with knurling for actual turning of the focus ring. Past this is the lens hood which slides out. Not much room for a tripod collar unless you keep the lens hood out. Mine is the ULD version so yours might be different ( I just noticed you said Mamiya FA). Sorry mine is the Mamiya 300/5.6.

Hi Dave. You might want to check with folks on the Pentax forum about this lens. Perhaps more likely that someone there owns this particular 645 lens. I just have the 645 A* series 300/4 lens.
