But I think they understand something wrong:

In addition, the sensor's pixels and readout circuitry employ new technologies that reduce noise, which tends to increase as pixel size increases.
Until now, I thought big pixels tend to generate less noise than smaller ones ... ?

Very likely, Stan, that noise has come from the artifacting that web compression always produces. If we could actually view the original footage, I think we would be amazed. For me, the comparisons speak volumes.
