A good friend of mine with an extensive camera, lens and adapter collection passed away the end of August due a very aggressive and fast cancer. He asked me to sell his collection because he lacked both the time and energy to do that. His widow has no energy for it either, nor the knowledge or contacts to undertake such a project by herself.
All proceeds of the sale will go to his widow who would like to receive a fair value for the items. I do not want nor get any commission on the sale.
I’m not a seller of equipment normally, usually items are worth more to me than their 2nd hand value. So my asking prices are based on looking at some 2nd hand equipment sites on the internet and pricing it a bit below to generate more interest. However if you think the asking prices are out of whack let me know by PM, including what you base your own estimate on. Pls. no price policing in the thread, I will ignore all of those and probably don’t want to do business with people who do that. I’m a long time member here and mostly involved with posting photos.
I will only sell items that are already in my possession and I have taken one photo of, more photo’s can be taken in case you’re seriously interested. Pls. also request those by PM.
I have no time to test everything extensively but will use it for a few shots and if I finds any problems will report them with the item. External scuffs and scratches are based on any photo’s provided. In case the buyer finds a problem I didn’t notice I will work a discount with him/her in good faith or will accept the item back for a full refund. Only condition is you pay all shipping/handling/taxes and duties both ways.
Payment is by Paypal or bank transfer and I prefer to sell in EU to avoid a lot of admin hassle with duty and taxes. I can give an estimate for S&H once I know where the item needs to be shipped. Taxes&duties are 100% your own responsibility.
