I have known algrove/Lou for over a decade, have photographed with him on multiple occasions, and have seen how careful he is with his gear. I would have ZERO hesitations buying from him.

This looks like a very robust kit! Just a couple of questions:
-what spacer (17 or 34) is needed with the 150mm short barrel Apo-digitar?
-does your CONUS shipping limit include shipment to Canada (I'm in Edmonton, Alberta)?

Nice to see another Canadian ALPA user!

@58Dave Lens usually comes with the required spacer. But getting Lou's 34mm Tilt swing adapter would be bemeficial. I've got the TS with mine and the spacer. Using both actually lets you experiment with closer focuses (you lose infinity when you add the extra spacer).

FYI, I have NEVER lost infinity focus with either the 17mm or 34mm Alpa tilt adapters on a shirt barrel lens made for their use. Also never had an Alpa short barrel lens come with the required spacer unless I ordered it.

Hi Jeff, thanks for your comments, and yes, it's great to see there's at least one other Alpa afficionado here in Canada! I'm set up for analog and shoot 6x9, so a longer lens (than my 80 and 120) holds appeal. The 150 seems to hit all the right notes. I do miss the movements that my 4x5's have, so appreciate the value of the tilt spacer. It sounds like I could still get infinity focus using only the 17mm spacer, but would lose the close focusing capability, as I understand it. It would be only half a lens(; Actually, I use the 17mm spacer with my 120 long barrel to do just that - much closer focusing. Anyways, I don't want to clog up Algrove's post with my ramblings, but look forward to chatting more! Dave
