Hi everybody! I’ve decided to sell on my Canon EF 50mm f1.0 - YES, the f1.0!! The fastest aperture 50mm autofocus lens ever made. The Canon EF 50 f1.0 is unlike anything else made - a terrific and distinctive rendering which I’m yet to encounter anything close outside of using a large format camera. The wide open performance is truly wonderful, much more easily accessible now with Canon’s mirrorless bodies! Such a joy to use when mounted to an R5!
Condition of my example is brilliant for its age - only subtle signs of use for a 34 year old lens. Front and rear elements are clean. Only minor dust (of course to be expected, though never ever present in normal shooting conditions). Aperture blades and actuation is perfect. Focusing is precise and careful. No dead spots in the ultrasonic motor. Lens mount also presents as very good condition. The hood is a model correct Fotodiox aftermarket type, though this naturally hasn’t ever been a problem and works without fault.
These are now getting way out of hand in terms of pricing - of which I've dropped the price to a low $4,250 AUD. Don't bother asking for cheaper or for a deal. If I can't sell, I'm in every position to keep it.
