Looking to move on my SK 120mm f/5.6 Super-Symmar HM MC in Copal 0. Beautiful lens, in great condition that I purchased from @Rod S. at the start of the year.

$1400 AUD / $990 USD / $825 EU + shipping

Located in Sydney Australia.

On 4x5 film, the SK Super-Symmar HM 5.6/120 MC provides a relaxed 35mm-e field of view together with an image circle of 211mm that allows for ample movements.

The image circle of 211mm allows for front rise of 39mm (vertical frame) or 34mm (horizontal frame).

Amongst lenses for 4x5 in the 110mm to 120mm range, it is unique for its combination of ample movements, aperture of f/5.6 and Copal 0 shutter, instead of the larger Copal 1.

I bought it to adapt to my Cambo Wide DS 4x5 camera, as it can fit into an SK focus helicoid. Soon after, however, I decided to change over to the Cambo WRS and a digital back.

If I were shooting 4x5 film today and owned this lens, I'd never trade it. There's nothing else that offers its performance in this compact a package at this focal length (at least during the time I owned this great lens). It's truly a superior optic for film, and was my favorite lens several years ago when I shot 4x5 film with my Linhof Technikardan 45S before moving to Phase One. When I traded my copy to Capture Integration with a large assortment of other Schneider lenses and a Sinar P2 kit, including a SK 150 Super-Symmar HM, they commented on the superb performance of the 120 when they tested it, compared with all others, even with the IQ3 100 back.

It really is one of those great lenses. Unfortunately 4x5 is just too difficult to get processed in my local area so I find myself committed to roll-film and the GFX which can't make full use of the coverage this lens provides!

Yes! In fact, we had to convince Cambo that it was worth the money to mount this lens into their WRS lenspanel, as someone wanted to do. They listened and were surprised by the performance as well. A good copy should have strong value.
