On the 1st of November, people visit their friends and relatives who have passed away on the cemeteries ...
Thus we went to the "Dieweg" in Uccle, Bruxelles, Belgium, a cemetery that is not in use any more, and where nature has taken over from the human caretakers for a large part ...
I shot in IR B/W and in colour, for the colour photos, I concentrated mostly on details from the graves ...

Yesterday was Loy Kratong in Thailand, the day when everybody launches a small float with flowers, a candle and incense sticks onto a river, a canal or a pond. There are also activities for children, like painting plaster figurines.
