180mm F2.8 Zeiss CZJ Zebra Sonnar hacked short mount Makiflex 6x9 PanF HC110B Replenished by Nokton48, on Flickr

Standard Makiflex 180mm F2.8 Zeiss CZJ Zebra Sonnar hacked short mount 6x9 PanF HC110B Replenished. JOBO 2500 Multitank Unicolor Uniroller 8 roll film run. Skier Box 6x9cm full power Sony Nex C3 50mm Zeiss Touit F16. Camera carefully moved forward and back to achieve best focus wide open, and composition at F2.8.

Notice how beautifully the CZJ Sonnar vaporizes the background. The BOKEH is the reason I messed around with Pentacon Six mount lenses back in the day. I even have a Zeiss's SOFTAR 86mm CONTAX Filter, I used to use it for wedding Portrait Close-Ups. Filter cost as much as a used Hasselblad lens! :/

Film? There seems to be some sort of pattern/texture that looks like surge marks?

I see a pattern Yes, I'd attribute it maybe to being Olde Uber Expired Pan F. And rotary HC110B Replenished, it does get foamy. This film was just out of date when I bought a case of it, for $1.00 a roll. Sadly it is now, to find a roll here and there. But I'm happy to be using it up. Looks to me like something going on with the backing paper? Anyway it's gone. Sniff I love Pan F+. Might have to buy some fresh. My favorite soup with Pan F+ is PMK Pyro+ which I am going to start using again. And the lens passes it's initial trial. Fun with it ahead.

There are a lot of OOF artifacts also, that are out of focus plants in the background, blown out of focus by the bokeh of the Zebra Sonnar. It did look that way through the Maki viewfinder.

G'Morning! Nice to see a bunch of new photos posted over the past few weeks! :D

I've been out of it since just before New Years, with a killer cold that is [i[finally[/i] letting go of my sinuses. Ugh. Next up I'll probably shoot some 6x6 ... or 6x7 if the Makina 67 gets back from the shop soon.
