I hear ya on that. I grew up and shot forever on Hasselblad so the square is still much more natural to me. I keep finding square crops in most of my shots, despite what the shot requirements want me to produce!I grew up with Rollei TLRs and still love the square format, though I don't use it as often as I should!
Nice! All I'd see on the way to the mailbox would be the elevator .Grabbed the camera & tripod on the way to the mailbox this evening, glad I did.

Dawn. Leica S(007), 250/5.6 Superachromat, Kase 10-stop filter, 4s @ f/11
Saturation was turned DOWN. I'm seeing posterization - not in LR, but in the output.

Bigger files, indeed! But it looks much better. Thanks!Lovely. May I suggest 16 bit output to get rid of the quantization artifacts, like a 16bit sRGB png for the web. Larger files, but smooth gradients without banding or colorations. Superachromat... ahh lucky you.
Best of luck with those tripod things!
A perfect combination of lens, back, light, color, subject, composition, and post.
Saw this tree on the way down from the great wall, in miyun district of beijing, lots of nice autumn colors already.
Shot this wide open with the Contax 645 and 120mm Makro Planar and P65+
Matt, those words are greatly appreciated!A perfect combination of lens, back, light, color, subject, composition, and post.
