what has happened to the trees on the upper right in the image, there seems to be close to zero detail
There is mist drifting blowing in that direction from the falls. Here is a different viewpoint, note the mist for the section of the fall directly behind the bigger tree - the breeze blows it to the right in this image. Falls.jpg

Dating from 1938, SS South Steyne was built in Leith (Scotland) by Henry Robb Ltd and reached Australia under her own power before settling down into a life travelling between Circular Quay and Manly (not to mention trips out into the ocean - to Broken Bay). She remained steam-powered until retirement in 1974. Following a string of complex, political machinations (and various different periods of 'heritage' usage), she hasn't operated for years and these days is languishing in Sydney's Berrys Bay - while the modern city grows behind it.

In view of this history, I was going for a rendering that shows the vessel as a dark, ghostly figure while the lights of the modern city grow behind...

Here's hoping a fitting fate awaits her rather than slow death.

And this is what that little fellow will look like in a few months. This one comes up to my door with his mate several times each week, pecks on the glass until I appear with a handful of penuts, and takes them one by one from my hand. She is a bit more reserved and I usually have to put her treats on the walkway. I am about 5'11" and he just about looks me eye to eye...big fellow but quite amiable when he wants a snack.
