Blue Hour Reflections by John Ngai, on Flickr

It's been a while... The day job has been keeping me busy lately but while in Washington, DC for a conference I dragged myself out of bed early to capture the reflection of the Washington Monument before sunrise. There wasn't much color in the sky but at least there was water in the reflecting pool, unlike the last time I was at this location!

From my visit to the Oregon Coast. This is the Haceta Head lighthouse taken from the only viewpoint other than being right on top of it. This was taken from the viewpoint on HWY 101 and is a long ways away. I took this with my GF 250 lens and croped it down to 68MP to get a little closer. The OOC image lacked contrast and color due to the water spray in the air but I was able to recover all of that in post. I think this would be best suited for FF because of the longer lenses available.

Fuji 100 II, GF 250.
