Ok, in 2021, one of my goals is to stop posting things like this because of not get out and shooting landscapes. I am not sure if my daughter is capitalizing on my photography boredom or feels sorry for me, but we shot this last night.

Thank you Pramote! I really want to be shooting landscapes, if all goes as planned I will get at least 2 trips this year, an early March trip to Death Valley and a late sept/early oct trip to SW Colorado.Greg,

This huge emission nebula is called the Seagull Nebula but it looks more like a sea turtle to me. It's so large that this is nearly the full frame of the IQ4150 using a Takahashi 530mm focal length telescope. As is typical the red color is the primary emission line of glowing hydrogen gas.
