I expect you are correct. I remember that thread.I get the feeling that the powers that be here on getdpi aren't exactly thrilled with the smaller format forums and contributors have grown despondent.

I'm right there with you Fredrick....I am keeping my D850 (and Sigma Art F mount lenses) for the long term.It would be a great sadness and indeed a black day if this forum section is closed. I have been on this forum almost half of my life…

The 135/1.8 Art is the only lens I have regrets about selling. Seriously one of the sharpest and quickest lenses I have used.I'm right there with you Fredrick....I am keeping my D850 (and Sigma Art F mount lenses) for the long term.
D850, Sigma 135/1.8 Art, ISO 800 at f2 (this image taken in 2020, perhaps the first time shared on this or any other forum). Looking towards a bright future with my D850.
I have just bought a D850 and the 35/50/85/300 lenses. No way do I want to give those up, the VF is absolutely fantastic and the controls are as near perfect as well, the grip is brilliant and the battery life after Z and other mirrorless is astounding. I also have the GFX 100RF - love both cameras and accept they both have their different uses.It would be a great sadness and indeed a black day if this forum section is closed.
