Great series
What was the elevation ?
is this still Spain ? The Pyrennes ?
Thanks!

This hike was in Ordesa Valley in the Spanish Pyrenees. We did a 8mi loop labeled Faja Canarellos ascending 3000 vertical feet. These were taken at around 6500ft I believe. After the waterfall, this "belt trail" follows the middle elevations of the valley with a steep dropoff both above and below the path. It was not well marked or tracked, and there was a thin layer of fresh snowfall on the ground confirming that no one had come this way in the last day or two (being April, it was early hiking season). We trekked for probably an hour without seeing any other hikers. Around mile 6, the trail rejoins the popular valley trail to return to the beginning.

Here are a few shots of the surrounding valley from the middle portion of the hike, taken with the Tamron 70-180mm:

Beautiful series of Spain Graham, both the city views as well as the wilderness hike. You made very good use of your time there!
Thanks! We only spent a day or two in each location on our trip, I think it was the Spanish tapas of vacations. :)

Drove up the east shore of Cayuga Lake to Aurora, NY and MacKenzie-Childs. It was closed and no-one around so we just walked around the property enjoying the beautiful summer day.
