I didn’t know if it was alright to post there, if the images were not made in 2024.

I think they are, it's the year of posting, not the year of taking. And I don't understand why we need these "yearly" threads anyway. If there's hundreds of pages I can see why but what's the point to start a new thread if there are only 18 pages.

Well, at my age that's not wise, but it was a beautiful day with halfway down a good hike.

We "cabled" down to the middle station:



Then walked this path to the hut Fuorcla Surlej:



This is how the upper cable car looks from below (somewhere on the path you see in the photo above):

And after that the trip down from the middle station was much less eventful
