I upload my pictures to flickr first and post the BBCode here, usually 1600px wide. In case you have a flickr account...Uploading to the forum didn't go as planned -- the attached photos were reprocessed and now look pretty "bitty." I need to learn how to use this forum better. That's obviously not the way to share photos!
Hello Godfrey, I tried the combination XV Adapter + extension tube 32E + Planar T* CFE 2.8/80 today. Wanted only to know if the mechanics and bayonets work. I am familiar with the special topic => assembly - disassembly sequence for my 503CW, V-lenses and 32E. When removing the lens from 32E, the leaf-shutter released and I had to wind it manual with a coin. Can this be avoided?Because I'm working with what I have for the present. If I were to buy new extension tubes, I'd likely want to buy X mount tubes (there are two available) but I already have these. If I were to buy new V system extension tubes, I'd have to have a way to determine how to tell what "later ones" looked like and find them since there are no serial numbers that I am aware of...
Here's a snap of the setup...
Slightly greater than life size with the Planar 80/2.8 T* (mm scale, full frame width, cropped vertical as uninteresting):

Hi, thanks for the images. How was focussing and framing with the CFV II 50C in such bright and directional sunshine? (I'm toying with idea of the CFV II 50C for my 503CX).A few images trying the CFV II 50C on the back of a 501cm. It was about -10C and windy so I didn't end up pulling out my filter kit and tripod as I normally would. This was mostly an experiment for me as it was the first time out with the CFV in natural light with the 501cm. All images shot with the 80mm f2.8 C T*.
With the 501cm I’ve been focusing and composing with the optical viewfinder on the 501. I’ve not tried using bulb mode on the lens and live view yet. That said, when using the back on the 907x my live view focusing experience has been simple and the screen is plenty bright.Hi, thanks for the images. Cool looking car, love the colour.
On my crappy screen (at my job), the last one has much more vibrant reds. I thought all browsers could render AdobeRGB nowadays, but apparently not.Adobe RGB or S RGB for postings?
