Fun with the Hasselblad 907x

28P is the ideal lens for small flowers but it focusses pretty close to get a 1/6 maximum reproduction ratio. Burnt-tip Orchid (Neotinea ustulata) in Hampshire, England

I'm impressed with how close it does focus. I wish my XCD 30mm could focus a bit closer. I love it as a wide angle but it has yet to come close to my all time fav lens, my trusty Fujinon XF 16mm f1.4 which focuses incredibly close and is maybe my all time favourite lens in any system -- for personal projects anyway.

Last weekend I visited my older brother, Mike Hendrix.. He used to do a good bit of amateur track racing in central and east Florida. Vehicles are all retired now, like him. I was like - Hey, let's go sit out in your back yard and he said No, you don't want to go back there. And I was like - Now I definitely want to go back there.

Hasselblad CFV 100c on Alpa 12 Plus with Rodenstock 40 HR. Three shot pano at 1/2 second. He was a good boy and held real still.

The HB 907X with the CFV50IIc back is not dead . Quite the contrary .
Here a visit to a small junkyard using the XCD30 and XCD45 .
I'll keep mine too. The XCD 30 is such a fantastic lens, I can't believe you can get one for €/$1,500-2000.
