And only IQ4 :/They've just announced, IQ4 is now supported on Capture Mobile app.
Is there a small non Apple tablet that is able to run the full version of Capture One, so that live view is enabled? Am mainly looking to be able to correct perspective of buildings whilst in the field, as well as having access to stitching images.Phase has been saying for months that it will come … but clearly implementing the complex protocol of P1 backs on the mobile architecture is not a priority for them given they added almost everything under the sun except Phase backs … and it is a money thing: better to let the programmers implement something related to Sony, Canon, etc. then to have them working on making sure there is seamless tethering with Phase gear …
The app is also primitive, last time I checked it didn’t even have camera control features; it will take a long time to have the same functionality with mobile then you have with the native app…
Yes, Microsoft Surface ... is not as energy efficient and WindowsIs there a small non Apple tablet that is able to run the full version of Capture One, so that live view is enabled? Would rather stick to Apple but curious to know what the other options are? Does anybody use a Macbook Air, the one with the new M2 chip? I assume this has the appropriate connections to make Capture One work without issue...
The layout of even the smallest laptop still seems extremely bulky somehow..
Yep, lots of options in this space - most recent would be any Microsoft surface. MacBooks of course work, but they are indeed bulky. You can get really small, for example https://gpd.hk/gpdpocket3Is there a small non Apple tablet that is able to run the full version of Capture One, so that live view is enabled? Yeah it does on my (old, work) surface book 3 at least, they should all be somewhat comparable. The Microsoft surface works with live view in Capture One?
I could not find a way to at least. Can you do a live view "perspective" manipulation of a scene? Am looking to use non tilt shift lenses on the GFX 100S and would like to see the result straight away?
Technically, Capture One is now a separate company and P1 has no say in what they do. Interestingly, they offer SDK tools themselves to process IIQ images into other formats now:Things like this should be seamless from the get go, I think P1 concentrate too much on non P1 while Hasselblad with their 'Phocus' concentrate on their platform 1st.
Thanks for the reply, much appreciated!Yeah it does on my (old, work) surface book 3 at least, they should all be somewhat comparable.

I would imagine this was driven by the needs of the B2B division which is selling inspection solutions. Without knowing the industry, I would assume making sure the files coming out of their reconnaissance drones can be fed into other pre-existing software packages drove the need to open up the format – ie not really about helping third-party raw developers from the photo world ...Technically, Capture One is now a separate company and P1 has no say in what they do. Off-topic, I know---but wow these are small pocket PCs. Has anyone pulled the trigger on one of these? Compatible to be coaxed into tethering an IQ series MFDB?Yep, lots of options in this space - most recent would be any Microsoft surface. MacBooks of course work, but they are indeed bulky. You can get smaller with just single board computers, just add your own battery and display: https://www.dfrobot.com/product-1404.htmlOff-topic, I know---but wow these are small pocket PCs. Has anyone pulled the trigger on one of these? Compatible to be coaxed into tethering an IQ series MFDB?
Probably! I tested it on my IQ3 Achro files for fun, seems to work at least. Which is neat because it has native multispectral support.I would imagine this was driven by the needs of the B2B division which is selling inspection solutions. ....except that thanks to Buildbot, I'm now looking at the GPD Pocket 3 and maybe even back to a Surface Pro tablet (after all those years of exploring options with the original Surface Pro 2 and IQ180!). Ouch, things have gotten expensive. Yolo?I love that with buildbot we have a real IT crack on the forum!
