I am experimenting with all of my frozen film, fresh film, different developers, different cameras, different lenses, and I have so little time or energy!

But it is so much fun and relaxing.

These are just some of film cameras and lenses that I've serviced. Since the start of 2020, I've purchased 10 cameras, sold 20, and I want to sell more, but which ones? Because I am usually buying cameras in parts/as-is condition, most of my investment has been my labor, not money. But even so, this is a lot of stuff for one person! Not a fan of the mindset which says that a person needs to hang onto things because they won't be affordable in the future: IME, broken Hasselblad outfits can occasionally be had in the $300 range, Nikon F, F3 and Canon F-1, for $150 or less, easily. There's no Leica M here, and that's not a coincidence: That market seems overheated to me.

This is about the 3rd time I've re-visited and re-scanned this old B&W 120, negative. Original shot about 45 years ago on Cape Cod bay using Rolleiflex 2.8F. This scan was done using OM-1 camera in HR (80 MP) mode and processed in DXO and LR with Negative Pro. There was some banding in the original from uneven development so I also replaced the sky in this version.

Last night I had fun developing a roll of Fujifilm 100 Acros II (shot with the F80, 50/1.8 G lens), in Rodinal with a bit different protocol. The resulting negatives were “delicious”.

This morning I scanned 35 of 37 negatives and so far I have only processed 5.

So, I thought it would be cool to share a few final images at a time as I work through processing them.
