without vignetting ...
Yes..... am aware of the differences and again appreciate the post - especially about the vignetting(y). I was going to ask but didn't since I couldn't see any in your images. I wasn't trying to say that the Pentax 150mm was in any way superior but that it was/is an unbelievable bargain at the price I paid for it and that, maybe, you should look into it as part of your arsenal. :) I probably would not opt for the Sigma 135 but instead would seriously think about the Sony 135 that could also be used on my A7R5 assuming I could find a great copy. That always seems to be the issue...

Best.....

No problem, Victor. I’m sure your Pentax is a fine lens at a bargain price.
But I thought you took interest in the Sigma 135 so I provided some relevant info.
The Sony 135 is a great lens, but can only be used on a Sony E-mount camera, whereas my Sigma can be used on both my Sony and Fuji: with suitable adapter of course.

Didn't know that there were limitations with the Sony 135mm with respect to the GFX. Thank you for pointing that out....

AND...... thank you for the numerous images that are great to see(y).

IN PRAISE OF THE XF55-200 - a much overlooked lens, imho. I use it often for architectural work and especially external or internal detail. Compared to the 50-140 it is much more lightweight and at f8 difference is imperceptible to most. I think this lens deserves a lot more love than it gets.

All shots are with the X-T4 and XF55-200 and are for a book planned for 2024 about the architecture of the north bank of the Thames.

This is a view across the Thames to the Nomura building in Angel Lane which has an unusual wooden exoskeleton.

I needed a good shot of 'Old Father Thames' on top of the former Port of London Authority building near the Tower of London.

The former Shell Petroleum building on the north bank of the Thames opposite Waterloo with its iconic clock colloquially known as 'Big Benzene'

St Stephen's Tower, now renamed the Elizabeth Tower, containing the enormous bell, 'Big Ben' which is sometimes used as the name of the tower itself. I was fortunate to be passing at a propitious time so I waited to get the hands as precisely midday.
