Is that handheld Bart?
Yes it's all hand-held, Alan. Pretty difficult to get a decent sharp shot due to windy conditions. So a tripod (or monopod) wouldn't have been of much help here.
I've got loads of unsharp images ... :(

If I may comment - I find this shot a bit off in composition or something else. However, the subject, with those dark contrasty waves.. that texture of the water.. Man, I would go back there and try a few things. Those waves make for something super interesting.

I think I see what you mean, Ricardo. But it is what it is.
Just shot it head on, I'm afraid ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But what about this crop ?

Kind regards.

I think it's better, but I would still go back and try a few things. I think there other shots to be had from there. This has happened to me with some frequency, particularly when going to a new place. And yes, "it is what it is" is the end point- not everything I take will be great so I have to go back and try other things.

Man I got reminded recently that I am just not a landscape photographer :). I took a shot of something that thought would be amazing and then looked at it not he computer and... wow. Not good :). But I am improving.
