I think this is an excellent shot Bart, the sharpness fall-off to the outer edges of the orb don't bother me at all, it's all smooth and gentle. And if you want more dof (for a more documentary style) probably focus stacking would work well on this object, but then you need a tripod and no wind which is not always the case while wandering out with your camera.

Thank you, Pieter. It was quite windy and this shot was the best of the bunch.
But just a few more millimeters of DoF would have been great.

hhaha people pay a fortune to get that kind of beautiful lack of DOF in 35mm land!!
