New Fuji X-Pro ... (X-Pro4/X-Pro5/X-Pro6) Anyone?

Has anyone an idea if/when the next Fujifilm X-Pro camera (could be called X-Pro4, X-Pro5, X-Pro6) will be announced?

It should (could) have a 40MP sensor, IBIS and hopefully a more flexible screen as the current X-Pro3 (please don't burn me on this one because I simply would prefer a screen like Sony can do in their top models).

Rumors say it should finally happen in 2026 - wonder when.

I would be in the market for this one as I am looking for a compact but highly capable Rangefinder-like camera that does not break the bank as a Leica M digital.

The current rumor is “after the X-T6.” The X-T6 apparently will be in the Sept 2026 month, so the X-Pro4 probably Oct-Nov.

But, this is a rumor. Rumors rumors are until they are an official announcement. You should buy on what you want/need today, not based it on rumors.

No real need from my side for the X-Pro4. Currently happy with my SL2S and my M lenses.

Having said that if this X-Pro4 would come with most of the rumoured improvements I could see myself buying one, just as small and VERY capable EDC.

I always had a sweet spot for Fuji and especially the X-Pro line ....

I think the best Fuji EDC right now is one of { X100VI, XE5, XM5 or even XT30iii }. But then I would find an Xpro4 too big of a body, as good as it will probably be. It will also be $$$.
