Looks like a nice lens. I like these "P" lenses for their size and weight. But whether I would replace my XCD 65mm ... not likely, it's my favorite and most used XCD lens.

It looks like this is the first new lens produced in China. Do you think they changed the manufacturer or started using the facilities of DJI?

For all of those of you that are on the fence about any of these new items coming from Hasselblad, I would advise you buy now while the pricing is where it is. Now that we have a President that embraces tariffs, you could see the pricing on any Chinese manufactured items go through the roof. Even non-chinese manufactured items are possibly going to go up some depending on the tariffs and how they extend out to other countries of origin.

...and consider holding off selling existing items until later.

I understand the importance of portability, but IMHO a long telephoto lens would be more useful/needed.
They keep scattering stuff over a spectrum that is already quite well populated.

But hey, happy to see they are not resting on their laurels. :)
I agree with you, In particular, the body is still a pretty penny.
On the other hand is good that they believe they can expand the market, it's a risky proposition, in particular outside China but time will tell if it was a good call.
The 90mm f2.5 is similar to 70~72mm A 125 f2.5 could still be compact and be appreciated (39% more than the 90). The other option will be to go with a 180mm

Let's see what is next, but they keep improving. AF needs work in particular tracking, but it's good they are working.

Best regards

I haven't seen anything yet which indicates where the XCD 75P is made or by whom. Without knowing, anything is possible.

It should work fine. The data sheet states compatibility with "Hasselblad X System cameras & 907X cameras". The camera just needs to be able to activate AF and fire the shutter – all the optical profiling work is done in post within Phocus or Lightroom. Some of the new shorter focal length lenses no doubt benefit from the 100MP BSI sensor but, as far as I know, they all still work with the older 50MP cameras. The 75P is unlikely to have any problems with colour casts, etc so should be a good lens on the X1D.

Not everyone lives where you live  Pricing in Switzerland is anyways almost always "a little" higher than elsewhere.
