Nikon Webcam Utility

Hi All,

I downloaded the Nikon Webcam Utility and tried it today with Zoom, as a possibility of using it for live streams. and/or meetings.
Since it is USB out it only carries video signal, I used my normal USB webcam as the microphone, however, the audio and video are completely out of sync.

They make the setup look straightforward in this video but it is unusable. Perhaps an analogue microphone would work better?

Has anyone used it successfully?

I have never used it, but looking at its Nikon USA webpage they seem to recommend connecting the external microphone to a mic port if you use an external mic and your computer has the port, rather than using a USB mic.
