Re: Had Enough?

Well, given the expression, the location, and the cigarette, instead of beautifying her, I grudged her up.

Re: Had Enough?

Yeah, but enough of the right things. Cold San Francisco morning with a brisk breeze is not one of them.
Actually she was very cold. I had to tell her to warm up once and awhile so she would not shiver.

But as Mae West once said:
"Too much of a good thing can be wonderful"

Bob,

On this image, and I don't know why, but I am bothered that I cannot see any part of her right arm at all. Maybe I just need more coffee...

Re: Had Enough?

Yeah, I didn't really notice that before you mentioned it. Still I am not sure with that pose where she ought to have put it, perhaps against the wall?
Anyway, this is the first time I added grunge, scars, noise, and burns to a model. Usually I do my best to remove all that stuff.
Anyway it was sort of an experiment which took off on its own once I loaded the image into PS.

Perhaps resting it against the wall with a smoldering smoke in hand?

Re: Had Enough?

Well apparently she has her right hand squeezed under her shoulder, pressing with her left arm the air out to make that distinctive noise which is supposed to keep away evil spirits.... Bob may be? ;)

Apart from the arm which I found not missing, but somehow her right shoulder leaves a questionmark, a very emotive and striking shot. Not sure what the term grunge exactly constitutes, but there is something about that picture that keeps you looking, and it is not becuase she is naked but more about her expression.

Her expression is rather disturbing, rejects the observer, for sure not inviting. A little bit like a lost tribe who had no contact with the modern world ever, and suddenly Bob comes along with 600mm tele and western clothing speaking a language she does not understand. There is curiousity, but more insecurity and perhaps fear in this expression, looking trapped, on her toes, ready to flee at any moment.

So, yes, I perceive it in similiar ways like Don when he said wolf child.

Striking picture Bob!

Re: Had Enough?

Just read Georg's comments which helped me better understand my initial thought/reaction "wolf child?"
Baby girl abandoned at a very young age, taken in and raised by a pack of wild dogs in an urban environment [sort of like Tarzan]. Bob hears what he believes are urban myths and decides to find the truth for himself.

She's spotted and tracked to an area where finally Bob is within distance to snap off one shot. She see's Bob, here right hand is hidden, maybe holding a weapon? Or maybe the little rag doll that's all she has of her past. Anyway from the look of miss trust in her eyes coupled with the "fight or flight" look she looks cornered and the next image shows ...

A picture is worth a thousand words. Nicely done Bob
