Not alot of information out there for achromatic digital backs. Starting a thread to try and create a place for links to resources.

I would love to see some prints made with the Phase One Achromatic back. Looking at images on the screen isn’t enough.

I print IQ4 Achromatic data using an Epson 9500 Spectro with a width of 44" and a length of ( more or less ) any length. The printouts are excellent.

Your statement "that you like to see prints and images on the screen are not enough" is understandable, but not quite to the point. When printing, you have a lot of variables - just the choice of paper or the profiles used make very big differences. Not to mention everything else that is done in post-processing.

From a purely objective point of view - with IQ4 Achromatic you get the best basic files without "bayer pattern demosaicing" for printing that you can currently get on the market. How the print is then implemented is actually a completely different story...

I shoot with an IQ260 achromatic. I converted my Epson 7800 to a Piezography type setup. K6 with lm and Lc to cool the warm carbon black pigment ink. I’m very happy with the results.
