Phase One XT and lenses for sale

Look, low-balling to see if it sticks works in real estate when everything crashes and everyone loses their home and jobs, etc. – we are not at this point with P1 gear. Lol.

Once they get their act together and release an IQ5, a new XT XL etc. we will hopefully see some stabilization.

I'm not looking to get scammed by people highballing their gear. I intentionally lowball so I can eventually meet in the middle. Not understanding the market is a child's game. This is like someone offering a like new GFX 100 for $4,500 and someone biting. No thanks.

These prices are way below market. The 138-SW alone should sell for 10k+.

4 XT lenses were recently successfully sold out at 8000-8500 EUR a pop. That's more market price.

Supply is low and Rodenstock increased prices.
I got a deal with a regular RS 32 (tilt-swing) + 70 + WRS 1600 + plate for $8,500. Not saying who sold it but if anyone doesn't believe me I can send proof. Not looking to do the 645 equivalent of paying $4,500 for a GFX 100. Thanks.

The sentence doesn't make sense. You can't get scammed by someone "high-balling" their gear. Lol.

If a price is too high for you, don't buy it. No one cares. Move on and sit on ebay until prices drop to your dream price level.

There's a fine line between the products and their prices. Cambo non XT is the cheap entry point into tech cams and the deal you cite is maybe 2.0-2.5k below market if one would usually pay 5.5-6k, 2.5k and 1.5k for the items, respectively. That's in the range of what is known. But then your stuck with Cambo. These items can be 13 years old ... and it is not uncommon to get a little discount if one buys multiple items of which two are harder sells (70 and WRS).

XT is another ballgame. Came out in 2019, x-shutter, expensive and rare on the 2nd market. Also prices vaey strongly by lens. The 32 is a great one, the 70 is not expensive even new today and can be actually had for as low as 1.5k if you get a magenta band. And Cambo cams have always been on the budget side being priced lower than both Arca and Alpa with very low resale value as a result.

So sorry to break it to you - it is not exactly the deal of the century you've made there - a fair deal for some difficult to sell Cambo things, yes, but it doesn't mean that everyone will fork over the hottest current warez at a discount because you shout loud for it and got yourself a WRS1600.

I am sure your are not at risk of being "scammed" by being "highballed" given your acute view on "market" prices.

hey buddy, just because you made poor financial decisions in the past doesn’t mean others have to do the same. And writing a whole essay on it is unnecessary.

I am actually making good financial decisions on a daily basis, "buddy", which is why I can buy things at list price if I want. Lol.

And BTW: This forum in general makes good financial decisions. No one has been publicly outed as an XC owner.

This strategy insults people.
I don't feel any negatively about this, considering I've been offered $3,000 for my GFX 100S and $2,500 Q2 within the past month or so. I've also been asked whether or not to trade an R5 for my GFX 100S, or $800 for a 70-200 RF F4 lens, or $750 for a like new 24-70 EF 2.8L II. The most shameless offer was someone wanting to trade for my Q2 using his Sony A6000.

If they do it to me I don't feel uncomfortable asking others this.
