Poor-man EVF-helper for 907x + CFV backs

I'm perfectly aware that I'm a computer guy, and that I'm a disaster with manual things.
However, since I've already anticipated this somewhere else in the forum, this is the first version of my naive idea of putting a viewfinder to the CFV display and turn it into a poor-man EVF.

In conjunction with the 4 re-programmable buttons, the gears and the joystick of the grip, I can operate mostly without taking my eye off the viewfinder.
That's only for the very sunny days or in case of manual focus with adapted optics, especially when hand-holding the camera. Normally I enjoy using the display at a distance and holding the camera at a lowered position in pure waist-level 50x stile.

I'll try to make it better looking (and built), and maybe will use a more rigid loupe in the future, for for now it seems to work well.

Of course I'd have bought an X2D if this is what I really wanted, but I need a trifecta, which now is almost a quadruplet. 😉

Really clever. I bought this one, which is very nice, but which I can only place on the screen as needed. Which one do you have that allows for that type of attachment?

It's a manual work, not a pre-built solution.
I simply did not want to have those bulky solutions with a rail below attaching to the camera tripod socket nor use any adhesive frame.

So, the viewfinder is this one:

Any model will work I suppose.

I've made holes on the two sides and bound elastic threads, plus quick-releases going to the camera strap lugs.
It's a real simple solution. I am 100% sure that there are people in this forum with great craftsmanship who can do much better than what I did.

I think you can adapt it as I did with the one I've bought.
I do not exclude the fact that there are already ones on the market which can be attached to the camera strap lugs.
