Hi.
How to remove the RotaSlite Ring from my SK 35mm XL Lens? Should remove by turning, but doesn`t.
Where to hold the lens to turn stronger? I guess holdig it on the front element is not a good idea...
Any suggestions...
Thanks

The biggest issue with this design is it is possible to cross-thread, which might be happening. If you can get one of those jar opener rubberized films or something of the like and hold onto the recessed board area of the lens where the red dot is, you could get a better grip. Maybe slightly rocking etc. I’m sure others have a better idea but that’s all I can think of right now.

Worst case you could remove the lens from the board entirely and then the lens will be out of the way ;)

Use rubber gloves and try to fix the R camera somehow on your desk so it does not move and then with the rubber gloves on try to touch the top part of the lens board on as many aeras at the same time as you can and then slowly try to turn it. DO NOT turn it by holding the shutter or the lens. Just work with the lensboard.

The rubber gloves did the trick! Thanks Akaru and Paul.
@Rod: Thanks for the invitation.

BTW: I am still looking for a rear extionsion box for my SK 5,6/100mm Apo Digitar and eventually the back part of a rm3di for my factum... all used

all the best.
