I like the color version - it appears mostly B&W with subtle touches of color that delight the eye when one looks around the image. Here is the color version, I'm not sure on whether to continue in color or in bw.
Bw would be technically easier due to all chromatic problems coming from the use of my non BSI sensor and the SK 35 XL.
Nice series. These three images were all made with the 35XL.
I agree - beautifully considered compositions...Nice series.
I have convinced myself that I dont need a 100MP body and my 50MP would do just fine but im not so sure now. The detail is incredible!Earlier this month I went on a photography trip to Mt Rainier National Park and I decided to bring all of my tech cam lenses with me. One of my favorite features of the Shimoda backpack is that they all fit so I don't have to wrestle with the decision of which lenses to take and which to leave behind.
Wildfires in the region made the conditions hazy during most of the day, but during sunset the light had a warm diffused quality to it. Generally, I don't use the 35XL that much, but I did on this trip and really enjoyed it. These three images were all made with the 35XL.
Arca Swiss Rm3di - Hasselblad CFV100C - Schneider Apo-Digitar 5.6/35XL (This one was made with a bit of tilt to keep the flowers in the foreground and Mount Rainier in focus. I also used about 3mm of camera rise to get more of the foreground.)

Don’t forget the reduced aliasing!I have convinced myself that I dont need a 100MP body and my 50MP would do just fine but im not so sure now. The detail is incredible!
You can always go for the IQ4150!!I have convinced myself that I dont need a 100MP body and my 50MP would do just fine but im not so sure now. The detail is incredible!
It looks so peaceful…Erythronium or dog-tooth violent
Beautiful and well-crafted images! Here are some more images from Mount Rainier National Park. These images were all made with the HR Digaron-W 50 mm f/4.0. Three of them are stitched images and one is a single capture.
