Testing the limits of my recently acquired SK 72L (thanks @Whisp3r!).

This is done at the almost the limit of lens rise I can reach with my WRS-1600.
Considering the impressive performances of this "old" lens, which for me and my camera limits is plenty enough, I can only imagine the capabilities of the 60XL...

Yes , I agree. This is a perfect lens. It's my favorite lens for shooting furniture.

Edit - Additional note:
LCC has been applied through HBComposer and "fix only structural issues" to correct PDAF banding, which was very visible, and some dust spots. I deliberately chose to keep vignetting and color casting because I liked the vignetting in the sky and I wanted to convert the image to B&W.

Already regretting the sale :ROFLMAO:;)

Well the 72 has even lower distortion than the 60 XL; you get of course more IC, but from a pure standpoint of distortion it is really at the top ... if you do not need a lot of shift this is an incredibly well corrected and useful lens. I've also never detected CA with it. Within its IC, really perfect.

It is a beautiful lens for repro and architecture as a result ... and in many repro rigs this one is used alongside the 120 ASPH.

NO CA at 100% against the evening sun ... IQ4 ...

A pair of images I've shot in Siracusa, Sicily, where I was born.
I've always found this building very interesting. While approaching it to take my photos, I've discovered it belongs to "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints".
