A saying goes that oak trees grow for 300 years.
Lives under 300 years.
And dies for 300 years.
So your guess is as good as mine as to the age of this oak

For a long time I have been using my Leica film cameras to shoot analog film.
But in the end, my frustration with the results of the color films became too great.
I sold my M6 camera, but since I still shoot black and white film, I have kept my M4-P. It's basically an M6 camera without a light meter

So for color I bought an M10-R. I am very saitisfied with that camera. It does what I expect it to do!

This is my first attempt at astrophotography with the Sigma 14mm F1.4 L lens on the SL3. Exposure was 20 seconds at F1.4. The red arc (bottom left) is an internal reflection of the light on the tree (top right) which was lit by our local lighthouse! Unfortunately recent evenings have either been cloudy or lit by a blue moon. The next few days should be better as moonrise isn't until well after midnight.

Incidentally, although the lens was primarily designed for astro work, it's an excellent WA for all-round use.
