Wonder if Sabrent Enterprise NVMe U.2 SSD memory will actually last that much longer than the M.2 2280 SSD

I see new larger sizes like 15.36TB and 30.72TB. They are 4.0x4 MTBF 2.5 million hours. These are U.2 (2.5") as I now have M.2 2280 devices which do really mention MTBF data.

Eventually all SSD will fail which is obvious, but some just might fail later in their life.

Enterprise U.2 SSDs do tend to last longer and have more spare flash than M.2 drives, especially at that capacity level.

I buy used U.2 enterprise drives over new M.2 drives all the time, have not had any failures so far. I have had some M.2 drives fail!

They do get hot though, and typically need some kind of forced air cooling.
