Hello

Looking to find a Mamiya ZD Camera (not the digital Back), Body Only or part of a larger set.
Feel free to PM me if you have one for sale.

Located in France, Europe.
Thanks

Ah, I used to shoot one of these around 2014 - odd choice, I'm curious about why you're looking for one?
They certainly are rare these days!
The image quality was pretty good, it had that "fat pixel CCD" look - but the camera and lenses are of somewhat questionable build quality.
Good luck finding one - I wish i still had mine to sell to you.

Hello!
The reasons vary from person to person, of course, but mainly it’s for the camera featuring an uncropped viewfinder, the reflex style handling, and a relatively large sensor with a 4:3 ratio and a low pixel count, which keeps file sizes reasonably manageable for storage on hard drives.

Thanks! I hope seeing one soon !

I have one! I don’t use it, its in mint condition, the auto focus works sometime and other times it just hunts, could be the 80mm lens but it was a common fault on these cameras. The quality is amazing though, I’ve made some huge prints from it in the past.

pictures for you.
I have the original camera strap, charger, 2x batteries, camera manual.

I have nothing of value to add to this post, but people being able to source items like this is why I love this website!

IMO that's just normal/happens a lot if you move it to using only the side AF points vs. the center cross point. That's how mine is at least. Awesome, Awesome cameras.

I know its not Mamya but also offers a very good reflex finder - might you be interested in a Leica S006?

I did consider it, but the reliability issues I’ve heard about on forums, along with the corrosion problems, ruled out this beautiful camera from my options.
The budget is also much higher.

Feel free to send me Pm for offers

I still have my mint Mamiya ZD I have found all the accessories even original CD with raw software, cables, filter cartridge, manual etc

Hello n2kos,

Thanks for your message
We can discuss prices in pm. I remember the AF system was not perfectly working, so difficult to make an offer without trying it …
Best regards

It sounds like the autofocus is working as designed. The 645 AFD had the same issue. Remember this was their first autofocus camera.

I don’t think you will find a Mamiya ZD Camera at a lower price.

—Steve.

Correct Steve, yes 645 also had AF issues its old technology focusing. Mamiya ZD always had issues with AF sometimes its slow but works other times it just hunts.

Thanks for all the offers.
For now it's a rare camera to find with the autofocus system working perfectly, but i am still looking for one.
