My first thought was that the lens needs an extra f stop at least. Samples seem to be in line with the rest of the Batis lenses which is to say excellent and smooth. The long rumored Zeiss Batis 135mm f/2.8 lens is now listed for pre-order at B&H and Adorama for $1,999. Let the games begin. :watch:

Who cares?Who designed this lens? Tamron or Sigma?
Some do.Who cares?
Thats sort of my thinking. My ONLY issue with the A-mount version is that I can't AF to the edges of the viewfinder without focus/recompose techniques.I'm not afraid to spend for good lenses, but for me this is too expensive. I'll stick with the dreadful 135mm ƒ1.8 Sonnar.
Well, I use it on an A99ii, which has more AF points. My ONLY issue with the A-mount version is that I can't AF to the edges of the viewfinder without focus/recompose techniques.
True. I haven't bought one of those yet as the 135/1.8 is the only A-mount lens I still have.Well, I use it on an A99ii, which has more AF points.
Looking forward to seeing results. I've heard that some people have issues with the camera needing to be reset when using the MC-11 adapter. I'm curious to know if you end up experiencing the same issues.I have the Sigma 135 1.8 coming next week. Could not resist
So far no issues with my lens.Looking forward to seeing results. I've heard that some people have issues with the camera needing to be reset when using the MC-11 adapter. I'm curious to know if you end up experiencing the same issues.
