    Nikkor SW 120mm f/8

I'm interested in this lens for 6x12, I think it gives the 35mm eqiv. of approx. 38mm. I'm curious about the image quality for a semi wide landscape lens, and if anyone can share their experience with it. Thanks-

Its my favorite lens-will cover 8x10, but I use it on 4x5.

Excellent lens, very large coverage - will eke out 8x10 when stopped down. Watch out for bellows flare on small cameras. Somewhat large and heavy for a 4x5-ish lens, but not prohibitively so. Among late-model plasmats from the major vendors, the 120 Apo-Symmar or Apo-Symmar L, 120 Sironar-N (hard to find), or 125 Fujinon-W would have ample of coverage for 6x12 and would be much smaller and lighter.

Excellent, thanks for the replies. I'm deciding on this lens or the 150mm xenar f/4.5. Thanks again.
