Will try out the 18mm with the M9, when I get a chance. Probably this weekend.

The one below is with the 50 lux.

Maybe what we need to ring in the New Year is a new thread titled: The All New Even More Fun w/M-series Images.

I think it's due. Those using the images on the the M9 thread for "buying decisions" have certainly done so. Either that or we need and Nikon D3 thread; D3x thread, D300 thread, etc., etc., ad nauseum.

A beautiful b/w conversion. Nice subject isolation via DOF as well.

Another NYC icon to be sure. Beautifully captured, Woody. This time of year makes for great night shots in Manhattan, as your image attests.

Nice Nick! I really like the top shot, the reflection of the fisherman is very cool. Also, nice job on the B&W conversion. They have a really nice "glow" to them.

Those are really nice, Nick. Contemplative and calming -- not just from the subject matter, but from the composition, which feels balanced, yet expansive. It will be interesting to see how the M9's sharpness holds up to grittier B&W processing.

Mostly raining, so can't get any decent exterior shots. Here's one of my wife's Irish drum.

Thanks, Lloyd. That one was with the 24 lux. I know, I know... we plan to do some serious belt tightening... next year.

Here's an interior shot with the 50 lux and M9. Sometimes I think my wife puts things out around the house and yard so I'll have something to photograph.

thrice - that is a wonderful image! Fantastic processing to get such nice detail in both the foreground and the sky. Was this HDR, or a single capture?
