    C&C very welcome!
Excellent use of DoF on the first (which I like very, very much) and the last.

    @Jose,
I like the first one with the reader,
perhaps with a bit cropped on the top and at the left side to cut off the white line.

Thanks, Dierk. I really thought of that but somehow felt that the other face in the background played a role... but I will take another hard look at it. Thanks indeed!

Lloyd, great captures. The colors and images just POP off my screen. Stunning stuff! At times, I find it hard to represent colors correctly using my M's and workflow, but you seemed to have nailed a broad spectrum in these images.

    Kudos!

Re: The All New More and More Fun With Digital M Images

Here are some straight from camera Jpegs, resized for web, no pp. I decided to try the "vintage B&W" preset, not bad. Although even with fw 1.116 the lcd review is horrid - I thought I underexposed all of these, hence one of them being over.

All with the 50mm Color-Skopar, first two wide open, second two f/5.6 I think.

    Needs more grain.

Jeff: The churches are great. Keep them coming!

Lloyd: That first "morning before work" shot is spectacular. The art gallery photo and the train shots are very cool. I love the detail in the box car under carriage.

    Jeff/Steve/Thrice: Thanks.

Thrice/Knorp: Thanks for the info on your shots.

Thrice: Very crisp B & W's.I like the look on her face in the second one. The IQ and PP's quite good.

Jaap: It's a shame that the graffiti taggers have made it to Easter Island

Jose: Nice photos. I saw your ship detail right after i posted a couple of my shots from today!

Probably missed somebody. Great stuff! Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Matt.

I processed the RAW's and true to common sense they came out a LOT better than in-camera jpegs with little to no effort (lightroom presets with a quick tweak). Just so this isn't a total repeat of my last post I've included another picture

retow, Jeff, dierk, endre, Matt, Steve, Bart and Ashwin. Thank you gentlemen. Much appreciated.

Bart and Johan, nicely captured graffiti. You two didn't have to go all the way to Easter Island to get those shots did you?

thrice: Nice update... the second versions are much more to my b/w tastes.

Yes- I found the straight version a bit dull, so I did a LAB color shift to make it more vivid. It didn't work too well with a simple saturation boost.

Wow, go away for a few days and the place fills up with graffiti!

Great photos all round, especially Jaap's painterly flowers, thrice's ocean shot, and Lloyd's "4 Ever" graffiti shot (see what you started).

A previously unprocessed shot from Times Square using an M8 and 28 cron.

Why by a camara for 10k$ and only use JPG out of the camera?

David: As was pointed out, it's a very rich shot. Lots to look at and let the mind organize. The janitor and the two cops are just prominent enough.

Kurt: nice shot. I like the progression from the mannequins to the dog to the guy at the end of the vanishing perspective.

And to you, Matt. Used to have an administrative assistant, who was Chinese, who every St. Patrick's Day wore a shirt that said, "Kiss Me, I'm Irish".

Amazing color in this one... just jumps off the screen.

Knorp: That's a terrific photo! Focused perfectly. Good caption. I can picture De Niro as the bird. Cheers, Matt
