Matt, great light on that shot!
the 21mm f/2.8 does not show so much color shift as my 21mm 4.5?

Jono, great still, so soft light and colors
I plan to order the 75 apo cron soon and hope, to get the same resolution
the last ones, flowers... are too big for my screen

Woody, +1 for the Monday's post

Jono: Thanks. I re-discoved that Dylan photo the other day.

Nice smattering of your life in those photo! The kitchen leather and garlic (sounds a little kinky when i type that?) photo's beautiful. The detail in the white garlic contrast wonderfully with the leather sheen of the sunglass (?) case. Beautiful trees. Cute puppy...and, the soles of your shoes. Thanks for posting. Cheers, Matt

Kurt: And, Beale St. Thank you! This thread is fun. Nice composition. The flare really works in this photo. The Tap room sign slightly darker and more saturated draws the eye as a secondary point of interest. Lots to look at. Well seen. Cheers, Matt.

Dierk: Thank you. Your B&W images are always very composed and elegant. The softer shadows and hard sunlight in the second and third are very compelling and the opposite of your fine Opera shots. At 28 deg. latitude the light is a factor that you work very well. I haven't noticed the "color shift" that you're talking about in your photos with this lens. Although, you probably corrected it. Cheers, Matt

Matt: Thanks for putting up the color version. The color feels like after some rain. I am attracted to the browns/cyan/blue contrast.

I like the bw more; don't know why though.

dierk: excellent angles, light/dark contrast. This one though is masterful. The geometric patterns the framing and the composition are superb.

I love the tiny 21/4.5; one of the best in my stable.

I am thinking of a change to the Super-Elmar-M 1:3.8/18mm ASPH
the color shift is really very much and for color hard to compesate.

Steve: Thanks. Unfortunately my vinyl collection dwindles each year. Unknown

Steve: Nice captures. I like all of the contextual "space" around the subjects. Great PP. Cheers, Matt.

Rayyan: +1. What Steve said. Istanbul, is, and always has been one of the crossroads of the world.

Now, my vinyl collection is starting to grow a bit year by year. I'll put a record on late at night (i.e Pink Floyd's Pulse). I think the new vinyl has a totally different quality then digital. For instance, at lower volumes, it's clearer (and i don't wake anybody up). Of course, i could simply be imagining it!

    Cheers, Matt

England and Scotland are places I have a special affinity towards. I grew up there. I think I know these places maybe more than my home.

    Beautiful and magnificent.

This shot, and the one before it are simply superb. What stunning color. Beautiful image of Istanbul as well. Great work, Rayyan.
