After a very very very long flight we arrived in Melbourne. And from there to the beautiful small town ( 2 hrs drive ) of Rosebud. After a 3 weeks grueling training camp in Rosebud we went to Sydney.
Did the tours that everyone does. Ayesha was sad that she did not get to climb some Aussie hills. We asked around....What was the nearest thing that
    she could climb...
Can she take heights they asked? It will be a climb of your life they told her. No, she said. How high is it she asked?
134 mts above the sea they said.
Can I do it without ropes to the top she said.

I, also, enjoy playing squash, although an Australian training camp sounds a bit harsh. No pain, no gain! If she could climb the bridge, why not mad Ludwig's folly? There is also Ayers rock; but, i believe it's sacred. You and your wife have an admirable amount of fun together! Cheers, Matt

very nice set! I'm glad that Leica doesn't make a 28/1.4, or I would be broke!

Here is a set of JPGs I did a year or so back with a 35/1.4 pre asph lux, all at 2500:

These are wonderful, Osman. Not only evocative, but calm and serene in composition. Bravo!

They remind me of Carl Dreyer's 1932 film Vampyr, which uses a soft mix of light and shadow to evoke a haunting presence.

A wonderful set, Simon. Very fun. (Doesn't hurt to have beautiful models, either, does it?)

Thanks Lloyd, very kind. They certainly don't take after their Dad in the looks department

    Take care you two.
Rayyan: Thanks. I remember Sleeping Beauty's castle from our many trips to Disneyland with our daughter. It's odd that they copied it and built one in Bavaria?

Osman: I'm a sucker for a good cat photo! Great composition, color and model's pose. I esp. liked these two "haunted" ones. Had to look hard to see the sailboat (). The slightly soft processing of the the empty lane is a bit haunting. It feels like one of those scenes where the people disappeared. Nice PP all.

These are great. Wonderful point of focus in the first, and that second... well, is that one of the Seven Dwarfs in that carriage?
