Thanks, Helen and Lloyd. The elderly lady is the mother of a dear friend. She understands English, but speaks only Russian. She picked Tilly up and started cooing all sorts of sweet Russian diminutives to her.

Helen, for more of Tilly, look here:

Superb!

I could never resist anything asked of me by a beautiful woman. ;)

So, by request, and just for you Helen, here are several images taken with the CV 50/1.5:

Lloyd .. this set of images with the Nokton is simply fabulous! I think I need to spend more time getting to "know" my Nokton; I've used mine only a handful of times.

Splendid, Jorgen!

Arie,
Your bike is a whole novel. I mean; where is the guy? He has a puncture and the bottles are empty. Has he run off with another woman? Does his wife know? What are they doing?
Jorgen, I'm extremely pleased to hear that my bicycle image raises so many questions for you. It's as they say .. every picture tells a story (or many stories). I think this also underlines the fact that each of us can be affected differently by an image.

Thank you for posting these imponderables ...

Skill beats luck every time!

Steve, this image showcases your ability to pre-plan a shot. Wonderful work! I think you've nicely demonstrated that knowing what your equipment is capable of and how to use it to best advantage (ie. skill) is a far more satisfying than (dare I say it?) relying on luck and a 5 frames-per-second digital machinegun.

I also love the image of your son taken with the 35 'lux .. unfortunately, your other shots with the 'lux don't display on my end.
