Man, great stuff.

Ashwin, I love the second group of images.
Dierk, that cabbage is really cool. The veins look remarkable.
Lloyd, wonderful reflection and colors.

do you know GigaPan?

I have the beta model since it came out 3 years ago and used it with the Leica D-Lux 3 for hundreds of panoramas.

I made high resolution panos with up to about 800 MPix!! stitched from more than 200 fotos of the 10MPix Leica D-Lux 3 like this one.

How does it work?
You just tell the Gigapan the lower left picture and the upper right picture and it does the rest fully automatic, up to 360 degreens up, down and arround.
And the GogaPan with the stitcher program works also like a shift lens.
(See the link above)

If of any interest, you may find my gigapans from La Palma here at gigapan
With double click you may zoom in almost endless.

Why am I posting this here?

The new model EPIC 100 works with the M8 and M9!

Imagine the resolution of a pano made with the M9 with the 90mm, you can print it 3m wide with 300 DPI:)

for $449.00, less than the 21mm wide angel viewfinder :D

One from this morning before work.
Lloyd, looks great to me.
We did not have much snow on La Palma this winter.

I get the feeling, that I should post more spring time for you:D

the lonely lily

Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f/1.2

I am impressed, how exact I could focus on the lily;)

Thank you!! We're supposed to start seeing some spring-like weather this week, but for now, I'll take all the color I can get.

@Jose,
I like the first one with the reader,
perhaps with a bit cropped on the top and at the left side to cut off the white line.

Thanks, Dierk. I really thought of that but somehow felt that the other face in the background played a role... but I will take another hard look at it. Thanks indeed!
