my favorites of this series: the first one and the tulips
(I could not find your feet among the tulips:D )
Actually, I do have a few shots that include my feet and pants legs.

Then I discovered I could hold the camera in front of me and aim down, using the neck strap for added stability. Or I angled the shot, as with this one.

here are some of my own...

a pair taken while wandering at lunch with my M9:

24/2.8 asph ISO 160 around 1/1000-4000 on the flowers, and brick wall (though the wall is cropped for effect)

and then another

90/2.0 pre-asph ISO 400 @ 1/30sec handheld on the keyboard - test of the focus as this is a new lens to me! i couldn't wait til morning to play around with it.

added the ThumbsUp that has been talked about in various forums, and i have to agree there is a world of difference.

added a last couple from the 50/1.4 pre-asph shot around the dinner table as my sister and i were reminiscing with family friends. not the perfect focus on her face on the right - instead it's on the wine, which was not the center of the evening despite what the last image might suggest! :ROTFL: i love how it looks though.

For a photographer this has got to be one of the most interesting threads on the web. Anywhere. Thanks to everyone who posts - there is something to learn from everyone and your examples help keep me on my game.

And especially, thanks to Lloyd, our guide and curator.

FINALLY got my tracking number from B&H so I should get the M9 by Tuesday UPS gods willing. You and I are both Phase One shooters so will be curious to see what images i come up with using the Leica system. Have the 35 and 75 cron lenses so far (want the 50 lux too). I'll be posting images here shortly. Like you I wanted something high quality and very very small to carry everywhere and when hiking or walking distances. More later! Eleanor

It's the Summarit 90mm f/2.5. I set the camera for auto ISO with a range of 160 to 400 and used a combination of auto and manual exposure.

Every time I visit I see wonderful beautiful images that make me want to go out and keep pushing that edge. I feel I'm pushing the M9 towards the edge of what it and I can accomplish however it's a heck of a ride getting there!

Any news on your M9?

Don
