The bright spot in the smoke is not flare; that's the sun. Used the smoke as an impromptu graduated filter :) Zeiss 50/2 ZM -

TonyC, that is quite an interesting horse portrait.:ROTFL:
Tim, Thanks. I like the framing on your shots.
John Black, Wow, the train shot is awesome and the sun mimics the headlight.

hdrmd: Thanks! Yes, I like the plugin a lot. I use it in PS3 and there's lot's of flexibility.

Hi Tim,

Well I have to admit that I am totally ignorant to that plugin but I do like the results. Nice use of vignetting.

Irakly,

That is an impressive series from Portugal there.

Don't know if I posted these already, but here are some shots from Downtown Miami. I took these on my lunch break from jury duty.

Courthouse Tower and Bus

The Federal Courthouse

Arne, Arne, Arne (One exclamation for each image LOL)

I love the beauty and the simplicity of your images. Of course you are now in much colder weather than most of us so we need to screw our heads on a little differently to appreciate your images. But they are truly beautiful.

Please always continue to bless us with these snapshots of our world in our time. They are priceless!

I hope someday that our paths will cross so I can meet with you and share points of view. I am sure I could learn much from your travails.
