m8/1962 Lux...Out & About

Yesterday I met a French photojornalist just returning from laos
at a Restaurant (Il Buco)
that I might be redoing some areas with Dcorative Finishes
He grabbed my M8 to play with and
I fell in Love with his Mamiya 6 w/75mm
Camera Heaven Yesterday!!

Beautiful shot... again, looks 3D.

Beautiful image, Helen. I love the subtle light on the stemware, and the use (rather bold... most folks would have cropped (and been mistaken to do so) to the lighted area) of negative space. Very, very nice!!

Hello Lloyd, What a splendid picture this is! Every bit (lighting, composition, resolution, bokeh, clarity, etc.) is perfect!!! Leica 77

Helen, I shoot always at 160 and when its very dark at 320 and use manual speeds from 1/6th to 1/60th +-; I then work on the file in the computer, this is very good for me (I use aperture and turn the boost all the way down).

Leica 77, thank you for your kind feedback, and for the information on the adapter for the M lens to Nikon. Much appreciated.

Hans, great color in the 1st, and those two portraits are lovely!

Also, Lloyd, those 50 cron shots are very nice as well. The cron looks to work great on the M8!
