Re: More and more fun with M8 images

Simon - what a wonderful shot!

I prefer the first as photograph. The 2nd would make a nice hall-mark card.

Mike
Thanks Mike :D

Simon - Lovely capture!

Daniel - Skylight 307 Opening Night - nice series gives a good sense of the atmosphere.
Thank you :D

Both are great; the first is classic, the second is a dream ;)
Thanks Jack. I was wanting to convey a warm, dreamy look :D

A few shots taken during a stroll in Istanbul with a newly-acquired (and deeply appreciated) Elmarit 24mm.
Best regards,
Osman
Nice selection Osman - the quality of the pictures across the frame shows well. The Elmarit 24mm is a great lens isn't it

Simon, your lovely daughter looks . . . erm . . lovely and daughterish:)
I prefer the straight conversion by some distance.

Daniel - thank you, I enjoyed your slide shows

Mike - nice shot - I want your elmar!

Here is one from this afternoon 28 'cron

What a difference a day makes. Beautiful, warm weather; nice clear vistas just yesterday... and today, yuk. Taken about 2 minutes ago

Aw, Spring. (More of this forecasted over the next several days... the joy.)

:DWaiting for spring? Yeah, sure. This what it looked like outside our house at the last largish snowfall three weeks ago - the second is the back after shoveling the roofs. Less now - but still a LOT! RD1 CV21

Lief,

That's some serious snow. We were like that earlier this year, but it's mostly gone now. Our nearby mountains have had over 120 cm in the last four days!

Beautiful images as well. Thanks.

Love the second one Leif. Did you add the vignetting? It looks good on this one especially.

Hi Steve . . . I guess I just spend a lot of time looking at skies!
That's a lovely prickly conversion for the old barn . . . there seem to be a lot of 'em about down your way.

Lloyd, mugging the sun was taken with my old favorite, the 75 'cron. The combination of the fine bokeh and the close focusing keeps bringing me back.

Thanks Lloyd, Jono.

Here is a snap of my son and his parakeet. Just a snap, messy bed and all but I liked the color and feel of this one. 28 Elmarit.

Thanks!

Nice shot, actually, and I continue to be impressed with the 28 Elmarit.

Really nice shot. Like the colors and the expression. Messy bed just add to the atmosphere. I continue to be impressed with peoples photos which they call "just a snapshot" :).

Thanks guys! Here is one from today with the 15 Heliar..

Very, very nice, Steve. And another fine b/w conversion too.
That really is a great little lens, isn't it? Worth much more than it's cost.
