In case anyone was wondering .......
- it works very well on my M8 (though I know others had some problems);
- it doesn't work on my M9. Only a third or so of the image is saved to the card. Initially I thought that it was choking on the huge uncompressed files but I get the same result with compressed DNGs too.
Disappointing really, I had quite a good workflow with the M8 - files were transmitted quickly and reliably to a handheld pc which enabled me to review, check focus, etc. When the shoot was completed I just squirted the pictures to a desktop pc over my home wifi network.
Ah well, I guess I can now put the card on eBay, which will help me to recover a bit more of my outlay on the M9.
