Well I'm back from Kenya and Tanzania. I'm catching daily photo blog up to date and will be posting images here and on the Nikon forum (given the subject matter I got much more use out of my Nikon kit than my Leica stuff).

Some 4 min exposures with the M9. Wish I could expose for longer 25mm Biogon.

I'm really enjoying the sights of Turkey you're sharing Osman!

Someone let me know if I overcooked these. The first one has stacked grads to control the sun, so it's a little weird looking.

Both with 18mm Distagon. First shot 2-stop soft Galen Rowell Singh-Ray ND grad AND 3-stop reverse Daryl Benson Singh-Ray ND grad. Second shot just the reverse grad.

Danie - amazing. Especially #2. Those most be a wonder to see in print. Have you done any? Would love to see these in large form.

Osman - Always wowed by the colors in your work, lovely.

ShiroKuro - Nice, especially #3. Really great B&W conversions.

I do print quite often when I find the spare change. The detail from the M9 is simply phenomenal, and with the right printer (I've sampled quite a few places) they really shine.

Stuck doing work, so I've looked through earlier images to see what might be worth processing.

Here are a couple of shots with the M9 and 18mm super-elmar.

Steve, either you live in a very lively neighbourhood or you are just adept at seeking out life great scenes.

Thanks Matt & David I guess I was disappointed I couldn't get longer trails but I feel much more proud of the image now thanks to all of you.

Matt, I'm digging the street musicians, inspiring me to go find some today
David, I love good ultra-wide street in black & white, so I love those shots. Great processing.

I sorry to see you trip coming to a close, Osman. I've very much enjoyed it. I love the shots of the buildings. I find the construction fascinating. Great series, really.

Both with 18mm Distagon. First shot 2-stop soft Galen Rowell Singh-Ray ND grad AND 3-stop reverse Daryl Benson Singh-Ray ND grad. Second shot just the reverse grad.
Nothing overcooked to my eyes. Great stuff, Daniel.

I LOVE these Matt. Great processing, perfect timing on the shots, wonderful subjects. A real timeless quality to these as well. They could have been taken during the Depression. Awesome stuff.

Stuck doing work, so I've looked through earlier images to see what might be worth processing.

Here are a couple of shots with the M9 and 18mm super-elmar.

Yet more proof, David. You are, indeed, the master of wide.

A few from the past several weeks. I know they don't compare to the stellar work on this forum. Thanks for looking.

Actually, these are very nice. The reflections on the water on the first are really striking. And I love the last one, as it's of one of my favorite views in all of Hawaii. I've been there a number of times, and down to the beach a few as well. The color of the sand on that beach is very unique... sort of olive colored. Thanks for taking me back!

Another car get-together this weekend. Always good for a few colorful shots (sorry if you guys are bored by car photos).

Lloyd: Thanks. That first was just a quick shot to show Ashwin what the 21mm lens did while we were standing there. Those two musicians were really having fun and it showed. The women's the one who plays the saw.

Mike: Nah! What sort of person would be bored by car photographs? Beautiful angles and pp in these.
